Illustrator

Gary Weyandt is an Illustrator and Character Designer that utilizes hand drawn lines and computer generated color to produce stylized illustrations. Weyandt enjoys creating fictional worlds and the beings that inhabit them. Ultimately, he likes telling stories. His senior exhibition MEDIAted released in April 20, 2020. This exhibition deconstructed an argument between himself and childhood friends on Facebook to examine the effects of social media on relationships. Weyandt obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Visual Art Studies May 2020 from Penn State Altoona. As a student he was the recipient of the Fine Arts award in 2017 and the Zoller art award in 2016. Both awards were received from Penn State Altoona.
